Why So What?
So What is, of course, the name of the opening track from Miles Davis' classic 'Kind of Blue' album. The simple but evocative nature of the melody and improvisation embodies the spirit of what we are trying to present with So What Promotions - quality and value without fuss.
Who are we?
So What is run be me, Angus Rorison. I have 25 years experience of playing guitar in jazz, blues and other bands in the South-East, London and France. I started So What basically because I want to see great music in Kent, rather than having to go to London! I like a relaxed, convivial atmosphere and want to put on events that audiences love to see, and artists to play at. I am helped at events by similarly enthusiastic friends and family! Currently I'm playing a lot of blues with the trio Steakhouse, see www.myspace.com/steakhouseblues. Previous to this I played in the afrobeat/ska band Mr. Lovebucket.
